brings exceptional exhibitors from near and far
KL Communications is pleased to announce that the 5th Annual Milwaukee Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Show will be held October 1-3, 2010 in The Garage at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. If you have weekend plans, want to hit the show on the way home from work or just want first dibs on cash and carry items, the doors now open on Friday night from 4pm – 8pm.

Feed Your Soul T-shirt Design Competition

To celebrate our Seventh Annual Feed Your Soul, we've created a new opportunity for our 2-dimensional artist and designer friends to get involved. In addition to the popular Custom-Bowl Auction, Art Auction, and Raffle, we will be selling specialty t-shirts at this event. We would love to see your interpretation of 'Feed Your Soul.' The winning designs will be printed (live) by Redwall Screen Printing- 1 ink color on a choice of shirt color. Calling all artists!

We are looking for artists to participate in the third annual Autumn Emporium benefiting the ASID Student Chapter Leadership Fund. This event is an arts and crafts fair which helps raise money for the ASID student scholarships. In the past years we have seen vendors selling hand made jewelry, glassware, paintings, photography, and knitwares. We are looking for anything fun and creative as long as it's hand made. UW-Stevens Point Banquet & Raffle

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point ASID Student Chapter is holding its annual alumni, students, faculty and friends banquet and raffle on October 8th, the Friday of the UWSP Homecoming weekend. The funds raised from the event will be used to support scholarships for ASID student chapter members within the interior architecture program.
Gateway Technical College Student Chapter Wins National Fundraisr of the Year Award

The ASID-WI student chapter at Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, WI was notified that they won the national Fundraiser of the Year award. The ASID Fundraiser of the Year award showcases innovative fundraisers developed primarily by and for ASID student chapters. Lindsay Marshall, Senior Manager of Student and Emerging Professional Programs wrote:
"It is with great pleasure that I write to inform you that the 2009 7th Annual Chair-ity Auction, was selected as the 2009-2010 ASID Fundraiser of the Year. Gateway Technical College's ASID Student Chapter created an incredibly creative and worthwhile project and ASID is served well by this outstanding program."
A booklet of information, pictures and advertising materials which had been used for the event was compiled and submitted to National for consideration for the award. Gateway Technical College received an award certificate, and a $500 check for their efforts.
Gateway Technical College student chapter of ASID is very proud of their organization and they are happy to be able to support their community through events like their Chair-ity Auction. They are also appreciative of all the support that Gateway Technical College gives them in organizing and executing this event. The Student Chapter looks forward to another exciting year filled with educational opportunities both on and off campus.
