About ASID WI

American Society of Interior Designers is the oldest and largest professional organization for interior designers in the United States and in Wisconsin. The society is lead by a volunteer board of elected officers that develops and follows a three-year strategic plan. As designers, we are both product specifiers and purchasers. Divided into basic areas, Wisconsin designers are categorized in the following way:

  • 30% Commercial design only
  • 23% Residential design only
  • 31% Practice in both areas
  • 16% Educators, facility management

The vision of ASID is to be the definitive resource on the interior built environment. The key components of our mission are education of members and expansion of opportunities for design services.
