- Restaurant Design is my specialty. I also have many residential and commercial clients as well.
- What is your design background/education?
- I graduated from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, WI.
- How did you get started in the design field?
- I started working in the family construction business and my interest grew from there. I worked with a high end residential firm out of college. Then I was recruited by Darden Restaurants to develop a remodel design for all of the existing Olive Garden Restaurants. I developed the design for them and successfully rolled out the design to 475+ restaurants across the country.
- Describe your design philosophy:
- My design philosophy is simple: a design should reflect the customer's needs while providing a functional and inviting atmosphere. I am a designer who listens to my client's needs and provides them a design with which they will be happy.
- What is your best advice for someone looking for an interior designer?
- Do your homework, check education, and most importantly references. Past clients will not be afraid to tell someone the positives or even the negatives (if any) of their experience with a particular designer.
- How have you been involved in the WI Chapter ASID?
- I have attended meetings and contributed articles to the newsletter.
- Do you have any interesting hobbies?
- I love to garden.
